The warm, golden hues of a September afternoon set the stage for a wonderful evening at the Barn at Raccoon Creek in Littleton. Julieanne and Pat's wedding day was a celebration of love, filled with heartfelt moments and unforgettable memories.
Before their wedding ceremony, the couple chose to share a private moment of reflection with a vow reading during their first look. Afterwards, a 1940s getaway car awaited them, adding a touch of vintage charm to their special day. But it wasn't just the car that stole the show - it was Diego, their loyal four-legged companion, who proudly served as the ring bearer, wagging his tail as he showed off his tuxedo bandana!
Julieanne's bridesmaids looked stunning in sage green velvet dresses, a choice that perfectly complemented the rustic elegance of the venue. Green is certainly a favorite color of Julieanne's, as you can tell from her emerald engagement ring (which I first fell in love with at their engagement session last fall). The curved wedding ceremony aisle created an intimate atmosphere, ensuring that all eyes were on the couple as they exchanged vows.
Capturing the celebration from a unique perspective, drone shots showcased the rustic barn, where guests gathered to toast to the newlyweds' happiness. As the sun dipped below the horizon, a golf cart whisked Julieanne and Pat away to the 17th hole, where they posed in the glow of a breathtaking sunset.
But the surprises didn't end there! A late-night grilled cheese bar surprised guests with a savory treat, ensuring that energy levels remained high on the dance floor. The couple's law school friends and Pat's fraternity brothers went absolutely wild with Chris at the DJ table. He is a seriously awesome DJ who I would recommend to anyone wanting a killer dance floor. And what's a wedding without a bit of sparkle? The couple bid farewell to their loved ones with a grand sparkler exit.
As their wedding photographer, it was a privilege to capture these moments of joy, love, and spontaneity. Julieanne and Pat's wedding at the Barn at Raccoon Creek was a testament to their unique bond and the beautiful memories they were creating together.
