Ali and Kelton tied the knot on a crisp bluebird day in the Rocky Mountains. Dozens of their closest family and friends traveled to their rustic snow-covered venue. The groom and his groomsmen wore kilts the traditional way (in case you were wondering what's underneath) and the bridesmaids had luxurious white cashmere pashminas to wear over their dresses.
Their mid-day wedding was followed by a reception featuring every brunch item a person could want. Eggs and hash browns, croissants and fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy - you name it! A fire roared in the massive stone fireplace at the end of the hall.
The guests were too entranced by Ali and Kelton's first dance even to sip their mimosas. This couple has been together for a decade! The toasts and stories of their love shared by family and friends were full of the tenderness and perfect understanding these two showed each other all day.
Ali and Kelton needed no prompting or posing during their couples portraits - they couldn't stop themselves from cuddling despite (and perhaps thanks to) temperatures below freezing, with an epic winter landscape as the backdrop.
All photographs taken as second photographer to the wonderful Kate Merrill Photo. Thanks for bringing me along to witness this incredible day!
