I know a lot of couples would balk at the suggestion of a 3am wake-up call for their engagement session but somehow I always find my people :) The ones who are willing to hike in the dark to witness these stunning sunrise moments!

We met on a warm June morning for Lindsay and Ian's engagement session in Rocky Mountain National Park. We hiked through pine trees, past lakes, and across some slippery snowpack to just over 10,000 feet. A cool wind was blowing down the mountains and across the lake to us, playing with Lindsay's floor-length dress and long blonde hair. It gave these two the perfect excuse to hold on tightly to one another, which is always a bonus for photo sessions.

I can't wait to photograph these two adventurers again in Estes Park next August for their wedding! Until then, big warm hugs to you both, Lindsay and Ian!
