Lizette and Eduardo's traditional church wedding at Light of the World in Littleton was perfectly juxtaposed against quirky superhero details for the groomsmen. The groomsmen sported superhero cufflinks and were gifted a hidden stash of Ninja Turtle masks and rock star sunglasses for the reception! Their wedding cake even featured a Batman symbol.
In sharing a prayer before the ceremony, Lizette and Eddie had a non-first look - and it was emotional! After the service, the entire wedding party drove to Ken Caryl Open Space for photos that were filled with laughter. The bridesmaids ditched their heels in favor of flip flops, and the groomsmen unbuttoned their tuxedos to reveal superhero undershirts.
At the reception, the bride and groom danced until Lizette's gorgeous updo was falling down around her shoulders.
One of my favorite moments was the father of the bride's serenade. His voice was wonderful, and the moment was so meaningful that it held the attention of a room of about 200 people.
