Most people who know me know that I studied in France in college. What I don't always advertise about that trip (amazing as it was) is that I lived in Provence for five months and never saw the lavender fields! As a result I have a (not so) mild obsession with lavender. Rebecca and Jacob's August wedding at the Wedgewood on Boulder Creek was just fuel for the fire in that regard. I loved all of their wedding day details, from the antique silver accents to the white roses and - you guessed it! - lavender sprinkled throughout the day. There were so many surprising and heartfelt moments, from Jakob and his groomsmen showing off their Star Wars themed socks, to the tear on his cheek as the Rebecca surprised her husband with a song, to the reveal of white leather and lace Victorian ankle boots that the bride sported under her dress (scroll to the end for photos during the garter toss). Enjoy these inspirational photos and congratulations again to Rebecca and Jakob!
